Tree Removal Away From the House

Doc cut and cleaned out the trees that stood too close to a house and its front yard. The photo is the cover frame from his video of the job. A line of tall pines and hardwoods still stands at the edge of the yard. The ground in front of it is open now, with pine straw and bare sand where brush and small trees used to grow.

Trees that crowd a house cause trouble over time. Limbs rub the roof and fill the gutters, and a tree that leans toward the house is a worry every time a storm comes through. Thick growth in a front yard also blocks the view of the road and keeps the grass from getting sun.

Cleaning out a yard like this takes more than dropping trees. Each tree has to come down in a safe direction, away from the house. After that, the limbs and trunks get cut up and hauled off. The underbrush gets cleared too, so the ground is open and easy to keep up. Leaving the good trees standing in a clean line gives the yard shade without the risk right next to the house.

Doc does this work with his own equipment, and he is fully insured. If you have trees too close to your home, his tree removal page explains more. If the whole lot needs opening up, look at lot clearing. He works within about 50 miles of Columbia and into Louisiana.
